TAMS Service-Robot (TASER)
Since December 2003 the group TAMS owns a modificated version of the
MP-L655 of
NEOBOTIX. The robot system features a
mobile platform with differential drive and wheel encoders, two laser range
finders, a Pentium IV 2.4 GHz industrial computer, as well
as two
PA10-6C manipulators. Three finger
robotic hands by
Barrett Technologies Inc.
are used as gripper for each arm. Furthermore CCD microhead cameras, a stereo
head with a pan-tilt-unit and two IEEE1394-cameras as well as an
omnidirectional vision system with a high-resolution IEEE1394-camera and a
hyperbolidal mirror are attached.
