public class JConsole
extends javax.swing.JFrame
implements java.awt.event.ActionListener, ConsoleMessage

message console in a standalone (JFrame) window.

JConsole: a class to display multiline text messages in a scrollable textarea inside a standalone top-level frame window. Use this class to print information messages or warning and error messages, without worrying about the DOS-shell limitations about the number of visible lines.

Note that textareas with many lines are a severe performance problem in many current Java implementations (e.g. JDK for Windows), especially with many single-line updates. Therefore, you should limit the number of lines entered to the console, or transfer new data in multi-line blocks.
