Hamming weight (animation)

Description

An animated demo of the Hamming weight (bit counter) circuit, with a fixed sequence of typical input bit patterns. Unlike the previous applet, all adder inputs including the carry-in inputs are used, for a total of fifteen inputs.

Once the animation sequence is finished, the simulator is paused. You can then press the 'run' (play) button to continue with interactive mode (click the input switches or type the '0'..'9' and 'a'..'e' bindkeys); or press the 'rewind' and 'run' buttons to re-start the animation sequence.
